140 Years of Hanhart: Flyback Column-Wheel Chronograph
140 years ago, Johann A. Hanhart founded the Hanhart brand, beginning as a watch store before evolving into a renowned manufacturer of precision timepieces with chronograph functionality. To mark this significant anniversary, Hanhart proudly introduce the new 417 ES Flyback.
The new, first-class AMT5100 M caliber comes from Sellita's ``Manufacture AMT`` department. It controls the chronograph via a column wheel and has a power reserve of at least 58 hours when fully wound. The AMT 5100 M caliber is traditionally wound by hand and beats at a frequency of 4 hertz. It is robust, reliable and a delight for every chronograph fan.
The hands, numerals and totalizers of the Hanhart 417 ES 1954 Flyback Reverse Panda 39 are coated with Super-LumiNova® C3 GL to ensure optimum readability by day and night.
The deliberately simple screw-down case back is adorned with the historic Hanhart logo and the consecutive serial number engraved on the side. In order not to make this flyback chronograph any higher, the anti-magnetic capability is integrated into the stainless steel case back.
On the wrist, a black calfskin strap with a waistband-style carpet pad ensures a high level of comfort from day one. The Alcantara lining also promises a particularly pleasant feel against the skin. A stainless steel pin buckle with the historic Hanhart logo provides a secure hold.
The Hanhart shock protection was developed to withstand even the most extreme conditions. It offers additional protection against shocks alongside the usual factory-fitted protection mechanisms.
